Our Program
Our horsemanship and equine science courses focus on teaching and educating students about the equine industry with hands on experience. In horsemanship classes, students learn about maintaining the health and environment of a horse by cleaning stalls, feeding, grooming, show preparation, and assisting in farrier and veterinarian procedures. The students also enjoy learning to properly ride in both English and Western disciplines.
Our equine science courses teach students current industry terminology and standards that include equine subjects covering anatomy, health care, NCHA/NRHA/NRCHA judging , nutrition, reproduction, and breed association standards. We believe in preparing students to enter the equine industry or a higher degree program with an education that holds high academic standards with many hours spend developing practical, first hand experiences.
OUr Equine Club
The purpose of our equine club is give students the opportunity to explore a variety of careers and avenues within the equine industry while also serving the community through volunteer hours. We believe in being active in the community, industry, and school by dedicating many hours to a variety of experiences.
